Welcome back to another great year at St. Patrick Catholic School! I am very excited to return this year, and eager to continue getting to know our students and families in this wonderful learning community.
The first week of school will be spent establishing routines and setting goals for ourselves. As grade 5 and 6 students, we will be setting the best examples for our younger students in the school as well as preparing ourselves for the excitement of moving on to grade 7. While we are focusing on our curriculum and learning together, we are also always going to be reaching out as leaders and establishing ourselves as responsible and organized learners.
Please take a few moments to visit our class website and twitter page, where you will find important dates and reminders. We will be striving to write in our agendas daily, and for the first few weeks of school we will also add the agenda notes to our website. We will be updating our class blog every week so that you can see how hard we’re working!

Please spend a few moments signing the technology permission form and filling out my parent questionnaire, which can be put in the pocket of the agenda to be sent back to school. It is important that the agenda be brought to class every day, as organization is a big focus for us this year and the agendas are a fantastic organizational tool!
I look forward to meeting you all at our Welcome Back BBQ on September 14th! In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns please contact the school and I will respond as soon as I can. The agendas may also be used if you’d like to send me a quick note!
Let’s go St. Pat’s!
